I hold a B.S. in Bio-Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida. I have worked as a tutor for kindergarten through 12th grade students at a school in Lakeland, Florida in the areas of math, reading, writing, and test preparation. As far as tests go, I am prepared to help students excel at the PSATs, SATs, ACTs as well as several AP exams. My tutoring experience also extends to students of the adult age range who needed help in either chemistry or biology on their way to becoming nurses or EMTs. In each of these roles, I have discovered ways to encourage confidence and build self-esteem in students. I believe that understanding each student's learning and study style is important to help them achieve. While tutoring, I provide an optimistic perspective as well as steady encouragement so as to form a circle of trust. Education is the key to so many doors of life, so helping students is my pleasure. My hobbies include both playing and watching many sports, including soccer, basketball, and baseball -- often with family or friends. I'm also an avid writer on the topics of philosophy, politics, history, and science, and I enjoy listening to music.
