I'll start this section with a personal comment. As an individual with a stretched attention span without having pursued any medical recourse, I fully understand the difficulties in working to focus in today's ever changing and frenetic world. Each student has a lesson plan created uniquely for his/her needs and we both review this plan to ensure buy in and achieve-ability. I have worked primarily with adults working to further their grasp of the language either for ESL purposes or for those career driven. I bring a real life application of how to frame tutoring into an academic setting while cultivating a safe environment to tap into the curiosity of each student.

I had a unique hands-on environment as a child, growing up with parents who embraced the psychology behind early childhood development and embodied that to a 'T'. A childhood of immersive education translated into an adult ever seeking new knowledge, challenges, and adventures. I am passionate about sharing this knowledge and in return, learning about myself and the world along the way. I learned the alphabet by the age of 3, reading 1st grade by the age of 4, middle school level by the age of 6, and university level by the age of 7. I enjoy mountain biking, and playing with my two dogs. I am equally as happy in the kitchen, creating a meal from the miscellaneous items found throughout. I'm an avid current events follower and fact checker. I believe in an engaged community for a better tomorrow.
